A culture of professional collaboration and learning is valued in our school. Staff work together to plan and review student progress to identify next steps to focus on improved outcomes along with professional learning through mentoring and feedback. A strong learning team model exists and continues to bring innovative practices into our classrooms and the opportunity for our staff to grow.
Our school has established community partnerships and links which provide our students and families with additional educational experiences and opportunities. Parents, carers and families are invited to celebrate educational outcomes with the school and wider community to ensure every student succeeds.
We host a KindylinQ program two mornings per week and encourage any members of the local community with children from birth to 3 years to attend KindylinQ and become a part of our school community.
We actively engage with our Local Indigenous Elders in support of First Nations Students and ensure that we are not only closing the gap, but ensuring that First Nations Students are achieving at the same academic rate as their peers - ensuring 12 months growth for 12 months worth of schooling.
All students are case managed and supported by a range of specialist staff to ensure that learning is maximised for every child, every day.
